Go to the service menu, then find HDPT and change it from 1 to 0 and that will turn off the 1080i processing reducing lag from 33.00 to 0.78 for 1080i inputs. You are welcome.

I tried this software using a video of Zelda TOTK I recorded off my switch. The frame counter shows the fps as a constant 60 fps. I know for a fact it is not 60 fps on switch.

i got mine and notice its having hard time on some games like cyber chase and spongebob glitches top of the screen on ps1 emulating

Most Xbox 360 and PS3 games look really bad in HD. You would have squint to see the good graphics in a lot of these games.

My friend has paid me to find a CECHA ps3 from japan and fix it up so he can use it as a PS1, PS2 and PS3 at his CRT setup. This is an incredibly niche video but it has helped tremendously. My friend will be very pleased. Thank you, based Laserfights.

Ok i spent over 3 hours trouble shooting i need to ask, does this mod no longer work in the latest update cause i am being driven insane trying to make the mod work nothing i do will make it launch in vr, no where i look has any fixes or solutions i just want to play in vr

watching this 2024 with my old Sony trinitron at 1280 x 960 and 85hz. just swapped from my main 165hz monitor and i can tell that 165hz LCD has never been smoother than this 85hz CRT. if i could get my hands on something like even 21" CRT, i propably stick with that as long as it has time left

you can do 1920x1440i 140+hz on that display, you need to download CRU and use an interlaced resolution

When I go to the properties of Gfr I don’t see the setting to “Use Desktop Game Theatre while SteamVR is active” so it keeps forcing me to use it. Could you make a new updated tutorial or share any ideas you have on how to fix that?

What resolution is that ? looks like 1600x1200 since the health bar is tiny.

My Samsung hd crt has the best response in 1080i but after a hdmi doctor dongle on hdmi the response is better then compo in any resolution.

Personally, Halo 3 looks better on a CRT, because the XBOX 360 version has a lot of aliasing on an HDTV since it renders sub 720p, like ~1100x680 or something like that. On top of that it will SuperSample to SDTV (640x480), so you get the best for of anti-aliasing.

Thats crazy! i had a PlayStation 1 emulator downloaded from the Internet and downloaded 5 games that go to the other half of my 500gb hard drive's partition table. And i do have a PlayStation 2 controller but you need an adapter to use it for what PlayStation 1 emulator you use. So i sticked to using the Xbox one controller. And the face buttons confuse me so i enabled something to tell me what button i pressed. So heres your note: Please buy a dualshock 4 controller for what PlayStation 1 emulator you use.

Due to nostalgia, I will have to side with the CRT display. That's unless in the future Retrolink is able to fully revive the display back to an original CRT TV 100 %, and I assume the soundtrack quality is the same. Thanks for the comparison. It's hard to find a comparison with an upscaler device and a CRT TV showcasing one of the Classic Spyro games on UA-cam.
